What better way to mark a special occasion or birthday than having a pony party? For your party, we offer an enchanting meadow pony theme or a rugged cowboy theme for you to choose from.

For any occasion!
Why spend your family moments fighting through crowds? Instead take advantage of the serene setting at Icssoma Farm. We offer a unique pony ride, sure to create special memories. Along with pony rides, we provide a treat. Choices range from a gift bag full of edibles to a fun toy. For an additional fee, children can take a trip to our very own on-site store to pick out something extra special. Parents are welcome to bring along a camera to preserve these priceless moments or we’ll be happy to provide photo service for an additional fee. Please call for additional information or to schedule a time for your magical pony ride. We have been successfully doing pony parties for over 30 years! We provide hardhats in all sizes. Closed toe shoes are required, and hard toed boots, rain boots or hiking boots are recommended.

We’re going greener! Our Pony theme is now reusable plastic and ceramic plates. The cost for the Cowboy theme and the Pony theme are the same. We are phasing out the use of all paper products for plastics, ceramics and other reusables.

With our pony theme, every child will receive a plastic pony of their choice, or you can instead get a small plush or unicorn. Ceramic or larger plush horses are available for $1 each. These would be better suited for older children or teens.

Our basic hour long pony party includes a picnic table outdoors or in our covered arena (rain or shine), a pony ride and a special gift for each guest. With our ‘extra’ package, we’ll take care of all the details, which includes personalized favor bags, table decorations, matching themed party hats, napkins, cups, table cloth, and plates. Extra activities include horseshoe painting and treasure hunts. You are also welcome to bring cameras to record special moments for you and your guests.

BASIC PONY PARTY PACKAGE… Includes all of the following:

  • Horse safety overview, and helmets for everyone who rides
  • Opportunities for all to participate in the grooming and tacking or untacking of the riding horse
  • A guided (lead line) ride in our arena or round pen for each child on a gentle horse
  • Horse Party favor for each child (a selection of colorful rubberized plastic horses, small plush or unicorn. May be upgraded to ceramic or larger plush for $1)
  • Special gift for the guest of honor
  • Cups, plates, napkins, plastic or silverware and color coordinated table cloth
  • Two skilled adult staff (or more for large groups or more activities)
  • A cooler for your use (you provide the ice)

PLUS…
One additional hour on the property is included with use of two picnic tables (rain or shine, outside or in barn). At this time, guests may participate in untacking, brushing, and putting away the horse if they desire, and enjoy our beautiful property with your supervision. Our covered round pen may also be used for soccer, baseball, games or poor weather. This is also a good time for opening gifts, cake and snacks. Facilities for compost, recycling and garbage are provided. We have an indoor swing and outdoor swings which also may be used with your supervision.

RATES are as follows:

  • Basic1 hourparty (1 horse) for up to eight guests: $175 ($5 ea add. guest)

Additional time as follows:

  • One hour $100, half hour $65, quarter hour $35
  • Additional horse for petting/brushing: $30 throughout 1sthour. Secondhour, $15.
  • Additional horse for riding $70 for one hour.

Note: A 50% deposit is required at least 10 days prior to your party. “Last minute” parties may be subject to a $30 surcharge.

Games/Activities: $40 for 8 guests, $4 per game/activity for each additional guest

Matching plastic favor bags will be provided for the treasure hunt and carnival games. You may upgrade to colorful, re-useable cloth bags for $1 per participant (1 cloth bag is sufficient for multiple games).

  • Treasure Hunt… includes 5 Gender/age appropriateprizes for each child, very popular!
  • Horseshoe Painting… each child gets to paint a real horseshoe, pre-coated with silver or gold paint to take home. Includes all paints, brushes, glitter and clean-up
  • Horse Decorating… paint a horse! Includes one gentle horse and supervision. Handprints, artwork, stencil “tattoos” and personal messages! (this activity is limited to 8 participants, usually 2 groups of 4, and is recommended for children 7 and up)

Carnival games $30 for 8 guests, $4 for each additional guest ($50 for both games)

  • Colorful Clown Beanbag toss… includes one substantial prize for each participant or several smaller prizes.
  • Ball-Can Toss… includes one substantial prize for each participant or several smaller prizes.

We recommend the basic party for eight, with one additional activity. Smaller groups will love more time and attention per person, as well as upgraded favors.

Cups, Plates, napkins, plasticware/silverware: Service for eight is included with basic party. First additional set of eight will be $10. The second will be $5.

Directions:

From the south take the Cotati/Sebastopol exit off Hwy 101. From the north take the Sonoma/Sebastopol Hwy 12 exit off Hwy 101. Go west until you get to the first stop light in Sebastopol, where Hwy 12 becomes Bodega Highway. You see signs for Bodega Bay on the left. We are located off of Bodega Highway 3.5 miles west of Sebastopol. From Bodega Highway turn left onto Tilton Road (you will see a white painted fence on the left) and follow Tilton approximately 1 mile to where the hill crests. Turn right onto Falstaff Road and follow it until the driveways forks. Take the upper left paved driveway to the end of the road. We are located at the address 11114 Falstaff. Click here for a map.

Notes:

  • We suggest you bring along a single-use camera to capture your memories. We can take photos for an additional charge.
  • We do require all participants to wear closed-toed shoes, and recommend boots and play clothes.
  • Games/activities will be staffed during your booked party time.
  • Most groups will have games going on simultaneously, while others are riding. We suggest no more than 3 participants waiting for a ride while others are involved in the games or activities.
  • All children attending will need signed permission from their parent/guardians. You can download and print these forms here, or call and request us to send you some in advance.
